Coffee & County Business - Every 2nd Monday of the Month

8-10 AM @Kaladi's Coffee Bar

The second Monday of each month Lynn gathers with residents of Jo Daviess County to discuss pertinent issues that concern the county.  We also discuss the agenda for the County Board Meeting that occurs the next day.  This gives residents an opportunity to know what the County Board is doing, what they are voting on, and gives them input into the process.

To foster a sense of inclusion and community involvement in the decision making process, Lynn Gallagher (County Board District 11), aims to provide a platform for residents to gather and voice concerns, opinions, and suggestions. This direct feedback helps board members understand the real world impact of policies and initiatives.

This is a non-partisan opportunity for constituents to gather and ensure county board members remain connected to the communities they serve.

Disability Voters Rights Forum

Monday, September 14th 6-8PM @Galena ARC Community Center

Come in person and dive into important conversations about voter rights for people with
disabilities. This is your chance to learn, share, and connect with others who are
passionate about making every voice heard. Don't miss out on this empowering event
where accessibility and advocacy come together.

Demonstrations of accessible voting equipment will be provided via video and we will be
registering voters too. You don't have to be disabled to attend or to learn about the voting process!

International Day of Peace Program: "Peace Begins with Us"

Light refreshments served

Join the Rotary Club of Galena for an evening of reflection, conversation, and
community action as we celebrate the International Day of Peace.

Peace is more than the absence of conflict, it is creating communities where
people feel safe, connected, respected, and heard.

This interactive program invites participants of all ages to share ideas, connect
across differences, and leave with one small action they can take to build peace
in our community.

League of Women Voters Candidate Forum

Tuesday, September 22nd 6:30-9PM @Galena GEMS

Candidates for Jo Daviess County Board and County Offices will share their
platforms and plans for Jo Daviess County.

As chairperson of the Social and Environmental Committee of the Jo Daviess County
Board, Lynn will facilitate 3 community forums gathering information on services for
senior citizens in Jo Daviess County.
